Hans Hartung: The Last Paintings 1989, 2010

In 1960, Hartung was awarded the Venice Biennale’s International Prize. He was once labeled a degenerate painter and exiled from his native Germany. In a prolific final year of his life, Hartung created hundreds of voluminous works.
